Merry Christmas

Mr. Grinch

Here is my Grinch for the month.  Still playing around with the graphic look.
Had some fun trying to figure out how I would illustrate the Grinch in a more  graphic look.
Enjoy and happy holidays.

The Grinch Stole Christmas! And How!

Hey there fellow slackers. This is my first post to the group and look forward to future subjects to put my spin on. Here's my take on Mr.Grinch. Hope you all enjoy and have a Merry Christmas!

Jokes on Me

Howdy,
Keith asked me to join Sketch Slackers a while back and I was hesitant to join because of some pressing comic book and sculpting projects that needed my attention. I did manage to sketch and color a Joker from my sketchbook a few days ago, and Keith seemed to think that it still may relate to the Batman theme from a few weeks back. So here it is.
P.S. Great work on this blog, guys. Really has turned into something worth coming back to time and time again to see what cool stuff has been posted.

Ward's The Grinch

This is why i never make a sketch book, my sketches suck! lol.
Anywho, i had some time to spare between work and whipped this up! Hope you dig it!

I also cant believed i missed out on the comic book thing here...Oh well maybe next time.

Fat Grinch

My grinch likes twinkies and beef jerky.

A bit late...but better than never

Here's my Captain American vs. Batman. I gotta let the good ol' Cap win one.

Feliz Navidad!

Feliz Navidad and a happy new year!

SketchSlacker Comic #10

Here is my attempt try at the Sketchslackers comic. Issue #10.  Tried to kinda tie into what others had done, yet leave the story open ended in case anyone else wanted to continue the story.
Enjoy

You're an obese one, Mr. Grinch

I thought I'd better get mine done early or not at all, with Christmas and all.

COMIC PAGE

Here's my submission for the comic. Hopefully the colors turn out okay.
Can you guess which game and comic i am referencing? 2 point for each correct answer.

I am finishing up my captian america vs batman currently...it'll be up hopefully by the end of the weekend.

Josh

Did a little something...

Well I thought I wasn't going to submit anything for captain america even after having some decent ideas. So I buckled down and did some quick net searching and after coming up with nothing i figured... how about a 3 minute sketch of captain america kicking batman in the nuts?

So, I sketch something quick in photoshop in literally 3 minutes... and hated it.

Then I remembered that just about anything looks better one of 2 ways. blown up HUGE... or shrunk down small.

So here ya go... my 16 color, 75x75 pixel nutshot icon, suitable for avatar use. :)

Sorry. I probably should have animated this... but this IS a slacker blog... so deal.

Cap: My first post.

Hi everyone. Okay, so I wasn't feelin' the whole "versus" thing, so I just did a Captain America piece-- hope that's okay.

Copying and pasting the description from my blog:

I figure this could represent the condition of the country nowadays, and how the political quarreling of petty differences has polarized everyone and is good for no one.

Or, ya know, Batman just beat him up.

Captain America vs Batman

So much for subtle symbolism...
I used a good-old-fashioned brush for the ink, and colored it in Photoshop.

Ka-Pow!

Batman 1.
Captain America 0.

Batman & Captain America

Batman and Captain America teaming up to kick butt. I took some liberties with their costumes...there was to much blue going on.

Captain America vs Batman

some vigilantes just don’t know how to share…

My first post here ever :) A quick sketch and color for this month's theme. Happy Hump Day!
