Blanka Like Skating!

For this month's post I wanted to put Blanka on a skateboard. It's fun trying to cram a design into the awkward space of a deck. I've been experimenting with a lot of new styles lately too, so I decided for this month's post to revert back to my native style (which is basically just masking a complete disregard for accurate anatomy with a lot of details :)).

Dhalsim

I cheated a bit this month and used an existing paper doll fold that I made for Avatar: the Last Airbender. It worked well because I was able to make Dhalsim's arm stretch pretty far. I just flipped the die line and changed a few cuts and folds a bit.
Here he is after I cut him out.
I googled his character profile and read that he is a pacifist. I found that pretty funny seeing that he wears three human sculls around his neck.

Hey guys!!

Just thought I'd introduce myself. Thanks very much Keith for the invite and Duncan for dropping my name and getting me invited. I know it's a bit late but, since I had this lying around I thought I'd contribute to the previous theme. Contribution for the new theme coming soon.

Feeling Nostalgic

So this whole Iron Man thing got me thinking about 'back in the day' and as I was looking for that Iron Man comic book I figured I'd pop in an old CD.

What better selection than Ghostface's CD "Ironman". I mean... the metal dude spit some fire on that CD!

Diggin' In the Crates

Since Duncan and I were tardy to the party we figured we'd make up for last month's Iron Man theme and wrap up that sketch before jumping into this month's theme.

I barely have time to do the things I don't want to do these days so I just ran to the basement, dug around the crates and pulled out this old Iron Man comic I had laying around from when my mom was a kid, or something like that.

You know.. at one point, Iron Man hung around with a chick, a dog, this lightweight dude and some other cat all out looking for things they had all along... but that is a story for another day my friends.

Iron Man

Big thanks for Keith for inviting me to participate!

I don't know too much about iron man but this pretty much sums it up. Speed paint in photoshop.
