I have a confession to make...I have never seen a TRON movie! I know...I know. So, not knowing much about the movies, I decided to do something a little experimental with this theme. I found a great reference piece online of 3-d type being created from cutting and folding over a single piece of paper. I thought the TRON type would work great in this style.

I created a digital pattern in Illustrator and printed on both sides of the paper so the TRON logo would really pop off its background.
This was a really fun experiment. Looking forward to getting back into my sketchbook for our next theme!

  3. thanks guys! Brian- I found these awesome roughed up metal scraps at work. I use them to as a photobox a lot to get cool reflections. I did put a cooling photo filter and a curve on the photo because my lighting wasn't great when I took the photo.
