I think the background color and texture fits really well with this.

ReplyDeletethanks guys, I had a good time working on this, I got snowed in on wed. so what better way to spend the day than drawing. the back ground I found more challenging that usual. originally I was going for something very graphic, I had been looking at vintage olympic posters but it wasnt fitting with the rest of the imagery so I had to scrap that idea, but I think I'm going to do another version this weekend more along what I originally intended to do.
